Current Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for volunteering! If you don’t yet have a district-issued volunteer badge, be sure to fill out a volunteer application. New volunteer applications include a background check and take 7-10 days to process. 

 

[OHHS] Oak Harbor High School
None for May but keep an eye out for two special events in June!

  1. PROM: Prom is happening Saturday, June 7th from 8–11 PM at the high school! We're looking for 10 volunteers to help chaperone the night. Your mission? Make sure the teens are safe and having fun making memories. Keep an eye on next month’s volunteer opportunity list for more details—glitter optional, enthusiasm required!
  2. GRADUATION: We’re gearing up for one of the most exciting events of the year – Graduation Day on Saturday, June 14th – and we’re looking for about 20 enthusiastic volunteers to help make it a smooth and memorable experience for our graduates and their families. Volunteering is a great way to support the Class of 2025 and be a part of the celebration! Keep an eye out for next month’s Volunteer Opportunity List if you’re interested in joining us.

    Volunteer roles include (but aren’t limited to):
  • Ticket Collection
  • Program Distribution
  • Posting Event Signage (entrance info, gate times, prohibited items, etc.)
  • Setting Up and Assisting with Accessible Seating
  • Crowd Control (inside stadium and surrounding areas)
  • Parking Coordination (School Board, accessible, overflow)
  • Come be part of this milestone moment—we’d love to have your help!

[CHE] Crescent Harbor Elementary

  1. Event: Anchored for Life – Beach Clean up
    Date/Time: Friday, May 30 th 11:00am – 1:00pm
    Description: Our Anchored for Life program will be at Windjammer Park (City Beach) doing a beach cleanup. We are looking for 4 volunteers to help from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers will meet staff and students at the park.

Watch for messages from your school in ParentSquare and contact your school for more details.
