NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:

Bid Submittal: Sealed bids will be received by Oak Harbor Public Schools, Facilities Management, 350 S. Oak Harbor Street, Oak Harbor, WA 98277.

Part I of the Bid Form will be received up to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13^th and Part II of the Bid Form will be received up to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20^th.  Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at 3:15 p.m. in room 350 S. Oak Harbor Street, Oak Harbor, WA 98277.  Bids received after the date and hour above stated will not receive consideration.

Project Description:  The project includes the following work:

New 3,200 square foot Career & Technical Education Building at Oak Harbor High School. The project will include pre-fabricated metal building with wood-framed infill walls, concrete slab & foundation, steel-framed storage mezzanine, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire sprinkler & associated site work.

Construction Schedule: Anticipated Start Date: 03/02/2026, Anticipated Completion Date: 11/30/2026

Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Meeting: The Project site is available for inspection by prospective bidders at a mandatory pre-bid site meeting and walk-through. All prospective bidders must attend the following meeting:

1. Location: Oak Harbor High School, 1 Wildcat Way, Oak Harbor, WA 98277
2. Friday, January 30^th @ 9:00 am.

This will be the only scheduled opportunity for bidders to visit the project site with project staff. Bids received from bidders who did not attend the mandatory pre-bid site meeting will not be considered.

Safety Plans: Prior to the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, the Contractor will be required to submit to the Owner a copy of its company safety program. See Modifications to the General Conditions, Part 5 for details.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive as an informality any irregularities in the bids received.
