Unless otherwise announced, the School Board holds regular business meetings on the second and last Mondays of each month, except July when the Board holds only one consent agenda meeting. The second December meeting is consent agenda only. The business meeting typically begins at 6 p.m. in the board room of the Administrative Services Building at 350 S. Oak Harbor Street and can be accessed online.

The Oak Harbor Public Schools Board of Directors complies with the Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA), which ensures local government business is transparent and accessible to the public. A meeting occurs when a majority (quorum) of board members are present and transact official business. The OPMA permits board members to travel together or engage in other activities/events, so long as they don’t discuss official business. Our district calendar below lists regular board meetings.
