Oak Harbor Public Schools Launches New Platform to Expand Community Access to School Facilities

The Oak Harbor Public Schools continues to prioritize providing community spaces for the residents and families of Oak Harbor. With the continued focus on expanding access, we are excited to announce the launch of FMX, our new facility-use platform, designed to make it easier for community organizations, families and other groups to request and reserve space at our schools and facilities.

"We recognize that access to community spaces is important, especially as opportunities for gathering, recreation, meetings and activities can be limited, " said Superintendent Dr. Michelle Kuss-Cybula, "As part of our commitment to being a community partner, Oak Harbor Public Schools is prioritizing public use of our facilities when they are not being used for school purposes."

FMX will help manage that process more efficiently, while making it easier for community members to see available spaces, submit facility use requests and navigate the reservation process.

Through FMX, users will be able to:
  • Explore available facilities and spaces
  • Submit facility use requests online
  • Provide event details and required information
  • Track the status of requests
  • Receive important updates about their reservation
The new platform will also help the district coordinate facility use across our schools, ensuring we can maximize the use of our buildings while keeping student programs and school activities our first priority.

We’re proud to open our doors and create more opportunities for our schools to serve as community spaces. Learn more and submit a facility use request through FMX on the Oak Harbor Public Schools website.
