Oak Harbor Public Schools is forming an Inclusionary Practices Task Force, dedicated to strengthening inclusive learning experiences for all students. This work will focus on district-wide practices, barriers, and the tools and supports necessary to ensure all students can access high-quality learning.

We are seeking representation from:

• General education teachers
  

• Special education teachers
  

• Specialists
  

• Administrators
  

• Paraeducators
  

• Parents and students
  

• Community members
  

What We Ask of Task Force Members

We are looking for individuals who can commit to:

• Attending all scheduled meetings
  

• Bringing creative, solutions-oriented thinking to the work
  

• Reading, reviewing, and engaging with inclusionary practices materials outside of meeting times
  

Because this is a small committee, we may not be able to include all who apply, but we encourage anyone interested to submit an application. Every voice matters, and all applications submitted by January 12th will be considered.
