In case you missed it, superintendent Dr. Michelle Kuss-Cybula shared a message with families, staff, and the community this week about how the federal government shutdown may impact our district.

This week Oak Harbor High School Key Club filled three cars of food and gave $250 in Safeway & Saars gift cards benefiting the North Whidbey Help House and Ryan's House for Youth! Key Club and No Strangers Club members also recently provided blankets to the Help House.

Thank you to our community partner, the Oak Harbor Kiwanis Club, for providing dictionaries to our third grade students!

The Oak Harbor High School Choirs came together to perform a variety of unique music from around the world, at the annual “Horizons” Choir Concert on Thursday, October 16.

Allena Locklear a senior in the choir program said, “My favorite song we sang was ‘Travelers Hymn’ because it is talking about moving on and growing together – and as this being my last year, this song has a deep connection. I built great memories with these people in choir and I hope they continue to have the same experience I did.”

Kindergarten, TTK, and Ms. Gehrmann's classes at Broad View Elementary had a fun visit from the Oak Harbor Fire Department. Our local fire fighters know how to put the fun is safety education!

North Whidbey Middle School leadership students recently planned a Macho Volleyball match and a Students vs. Students basketball game and both were huge successes!
