Hillcrest Elementary School PTA is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair and are looking for volunteers to help with setup/decorating, shopper support, and book fair pack-up.

April 15: Olympic View Elementary School Walk/Bike to School Day Greeters

It’s PURPLE UP DAY! Olympic View Elementary School will be having a Walk/Bike to School Day and are looking for volunteers to greet students as they arrive to school. This event is really special to the students and having greeters at the school to cheer them on is a real morale booster.

Time: 8:15 am to 9:05 am

April 15: Oak Harbor Intermediate Military Child Event

It’s PURPLE UP DAY! Oak Harbor Intermediate is hosting a Military Child Event and are looking for 4 to 6 volunteers to help with setup, concessions, helping pass out shirt orders, and cleanup.

April 15 - 19: Olympic View Elementary School Month of the Military Child

Olympic View Elementary School will be observing Month of the Military Child by inviting active duty military volunteers to come to the school in uniform to read to classes/students. This event is a hit with students and gives them a way to see and interact with active duty military personnel.

Need: 1 volunteer per shift, many shifts avaiable

Olympic View Elementary School will be having their annual Kindergarten Orientation Night and are looking for 8 – 10 volunteers to help with setup/cleanup and function as door greeters and traffic directors.

It is that time of year again; Spring Sports and home track meets for the OHHS Wildcats. We are once again looking for volunteers for our home track meets. It is a great way to enjoy the sunshine. No experience necessary, just dress for the weather. We are looking for volunteers to help as timers, work at field events, hurdle crew and more. It takes a minimum of 30 volunteers per meet.

Time: 3:15 pm to 7:30 pm  
Need: 30 - 40 volunteers

April 23: Olympic View Elementary School 1 st and 4 th Grade Music Program

Olympic View Elementary School will be having a 1 st and 4 th Grade Music Program and are looking for 10 volunteers to help with setup and 10 volunteers to help with cleanup. Volunteers are allowed to stay for the entire music program if they would like to.

Time: 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm setup and 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm for cleanup

North Whidbey Middle School is looking for 10-15 volunteers to help setup, chaperone, and break down for the 7th/8th Grade Social. These are very fun events where students get to interact outside of class and recess. Volunteers can enjoy food and beverage during the event.

April 25: Oak Harbor Elementary School Elementary Art Walk

Oak Harbor Elementary School will be presenting an Elementary Art Walk which will consiste of student art work posted/presented in a space for community members to enjoy. The OHE art teacher, Betsy Gmerek is looking for volunteers to help her post the student art work on 4/23
and 4/24. Interested volunteers to can email Betsy directly to work out a date/time that works for the volunteer.

April 26: Oak Harbor Elementary School Arbor Day with City of Oak Harbor at Volunteer Park 

Oak Harbor Elementary School will be having an amazing event to help the students celebrate Arbor Day by taking a walking field trip across the street from the school to Volunteer Park. This field trip will be in conjunction with the City of Oak Harbor and give the students an appreciation of Arbor Day and everything that it represents. The school is looking for 10 volunteers who will help with student direction, crowd control, handing out refreshments, and helping students get to and from the restrooms.
