The Books are Here!

Students opening book The excitement was palpable in Mr. Del Prete's class on a long-awaited day.  The manuscript that they had sent in was finally returned, bound as a colorful book all about the effects of acidification on our local seas.


The Whidbey News-Times sent a reporter to cover the big event and students posed with their new books.  We can't wait to see them in the local paper!

Mrs. Beach couldn't wait for the reporter to arrive to surprise her students when their books arrived a few days ago.  She immediately took the box to class and asked the students to guess what was inside.  After several guessed, they opened the box to see their colorful book inside.
