Summer Learning Resources

Girls playing Help kids retain their academic superpowers and avoid the summer slide during break through fun learning activities at home and in our community.


Sheppard Software has hundreds of free, online learning games and lots of levels for all abilities.  Have some fun playing online with your kids!




SUMMER S.T.E.M. Activities

  • Pacific Science Center has many summer programs and camps at nine locations.  Camp topics range from preschool science experiments to a robot workshop.
  • Maker Camp lets kids pick a project and get making.  Instructions and supply lists included.
  • Learn computer coding with Hour of Code through leveled games, for the pre-reader and up. 



Log into CLEVER and link to Reflex Math through August 31st.  You'll need:

  1. A Google account
  2. Email address: 28jsmith (graduation year student's first initial last name)
  3. Password: oak XXXXX (lunch number) 

Or try your hand at the games and puzzles at, or Khan Academy


Sno Isle art

Sno-Isle Libraries Explore Summer Kids program encourages kids to read over the summer, provides leveled reading lists, a printable reading log, games and activities.  Also check out the list of events and programs so you don't miss out on such things as:

  • The Ocean's Orca-stra
  • The Museum of Curious Things!
  • Alex Zerbe -- Professional Zaniac
  • Family Storytime
  • Juggling and Magic with Wren and Della

You'll also find several fun events all about the solar system, stars, asteroids, and the legends of the night.
