Our School
Soaring to New Heights
Broad View Elementary currently serves about 500 kindergarten through fourth-grade students. Our dedicated staff of over 50 educators strives to provide all students with a rich learning experience. Each year we take first through fourth graders to the Maxwelton Outdoor Classroom to provide them with a hands-on science experience. Each classroom will be participating in monthly STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities. We have amazing community partners that enhance our students’ educational experience including NAS Whidbey and our very active PTA.
Core Values
The purpose of Broad View Elementary is to provide a safe environment where all students are challenged and encouraged to achieve the highest standards of academic excellence and social responsibility. Our mascot is the Compass Rose. We use the Compass Rose as our mascot instead of a specific character so our students are not limited to a single idea of what an Explorer is. There are so many topics and careers open for exploration--read, imagine, try.
