Dr. Andrew D. Judd has been the director of the Oak Harbor Intermediate School Band since 2017. A native of Chehalis, WA, Dr. Judd graduated Summa Cum Laude from Evangel University in Springfield, MO with a degree in Music Education (2002). Dr. Judd continued his education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) where he received both the Masters of Music in Trombone Performance (2004) and the Doctor of Musical Arts in Trombone Performance (2007). From 2007-2016, Dr. Judd was the band director at North Whidbey Middle School.
Dr. Judd is a member of the San Juan Music Educators Association, Washington Music Educators Association, MENC: The National Association for Music Education, Oak Harbor Educators Association, Washington Educators Association, and the National Educators Association. He is an avid golfer and enjoys the outdoors. Judd met his wife Amanda while playing in the orchestra at Evangel and they were married in 2002. He has four children: three daughters Annice (12), Adeline (10), and Avery (7); and one son Austin (4). Students should know that Dr. Judd loves burritos from Jumbo Burrito or Qdoba Mexican Grill and his favorite coffee shop is Honeymoon Bay Coffee!
