Dear Students and Families,

 

My teaching experience stems from teaching since before 1991.  I moved to Oak Harbor and began teaching at the high school during the 2002-2003 school year.  This community and its students are remarkable in their support for each other as individuals and for education in general.  My favorite days in the classroom are when students discover something that is not working and figure out a way to fix it.  Maybe they fixed an experiment that was not working, an equation that was flawed, or a robot that came to a stand-still.  These students develop a strategy and solve their problem.  I hope that students in my classes can develop problem solving skills that will transfer to other parts of their lives outside the science classroom.
