Welcome to the Hillcrest Learning Assistance Program (LAP).

I am excited to be working with students and staff at Hillcrest. I have been a teacher in the district since 1990, teaching K, 1st, 2nd, and LAP. As a LAP teacher, I help to coordinate the reading and math screenings that identify students in need of extra support. A team of paraeducators and teachers provides small group and individual support for students in all grades. We use a variety of interventions targeted to meet student needs. We will work with you, your student, and their teacher to provide a program that increases your child's abilities so they feel empowered and successful.
