We're glad you're making our beautiful waterside community your home. We take great pride in the quality of our schools and the educational opportunities they offer. All of our teachers and staff are dedicated to partnering closely with families to ensure your child has a rewarding and positive learning experience.Enrolling Your ChildOak Harbor Public Schools uses an online process to enroll new students. Prior to beginning the online application process, families are encouraged to have the required documents available to upload into the application. The application can be saved throughout the process, but completing the application in one sitting expedites your request. Once submitted online, the completed application is available for school approval. For families with elementary students, it's important to know your child's school of residence prior to beginning registration. If you don't know your neighborhood school or have questions, you can use our district Boundary Map, or call the Administrative Service Center at 360.279.5000.Online RegistrationRegistration for the 2020-21 school year begins May 4 at 9:00 a.m. Families registering for the current school year (2019-20) may do so at any time.

Requests to transfer to another school within our district must be reviewed by your neighborhood school. Please be aware that elementary families are expected to provide transportation if they choose to send their student to a school other than the neighborhood school. Middle school and high school families are expected to provide transportation to the transfer school unless the student can get to a designated bus stop.
Out-of-District Choice Transfer Portal
The Choice Transfer Request Portal (CTRP) is used by many school districts in Washington State to process Choice Transfer requests. A Choice Transfer request is made when a student wants to attend a school outside of the school district where the student lives. For a Choice Transfer, the resident district must first release the student to start the transfer process. When you have completed your transfer application, your request will be sent to the resident school district.Choice Transfer Request Portal
