Overview

  • Engaged families further student learning
At Oak Harbor Public Schools, we recognize that when families are engaged in their children's education they achieve higher grades, have better attendance and behavior, complete more homework, and demonstrate a more positive attitude toward education. We are proud of the accomplishments of our students. We also know that building meaningful partnerships with our families and community is the best way to ensure student success. Every single one of us has an important role in supporting the children of this community. It's a spirit that we call #OneOakHarbor.

    Get involved
Families can be involved in their child's education in many ways, from attending school events, volunteering in schools, or joining a committee or PTA. For military families who may be deployed, we offer a range of ways to stay in touch with your child's progress. Family Access, calendars, school newsletters, and websites are just some tools available to help keep track of what's going on in our schools. We also welcome volunteers in our schools.
