All high school students attend Advisory Class. Advisory is designed to help students meet the multiple requirements for graduation based on Washington State law.
The Advisory program has four goals:
- An opportunity for each high school student to meet and stay connected with a group of students and an adult staff member;
- A place to take care of school logistics (registration, etc.);
- A dedicated time for students to work on assignments that are related to their post-high school plans; and
- A place to accomplish the High School and Beyond Plan, which is a Washington State graduation requirement.
