NWMS student and families, 

I am so lucky to have the privilege of teaching ART at NWMS this year! As a graduate of the Oak Harbor Public School District myself, I find gratitude in serving the community that once served me. 

As a young creative, the art room was a place of comfort, peacefulness and self exploration. These are the pillars of our current classroom culture. 

During the trimester, students will explore artists of our global history, apply knowledge of domain specific vocabulary, interact with a variety of visual art mediums, practice the skill of observation, and will reflect on their work and the work of others.
