Hello!   I am so happy to be the Kindergarten Supported and Resource Teacher.  Last year I substituted for several schools in the district and fell in love with this dynamic community.  This will be my eighth year as a teacher and I have taught in three different states, including California, Texas, and Maryland.  I graduated from California State University Monterey Bay and then continued my education to get my special education credential at California State University Sacramento. 

In my free time, I love going to the beach, reading, and trying to cook new cuisine. I just rescued a puppy this summer, and her name is Poppy.  She is close to 50 pounds but doesn’t know it yet and tries to sit on my lap. I am close to my family. My parents live on the island, and my brother lives in Oregon.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year.
