Hi Families,
Welcome to Kindergarten at Crescent Harbor Elementary. I have had the privilege of teaching Preschool, Kindergarten and First Grade for a couple of years each. I also have two highly energetic young children of my own. I am excited to be part of the Oak Harbor Public School family and to support your children!
Our primary goal in kindergarten is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children are taught the classroom routine and procedures of how to be students. We will also grow their desire to learn through play, movement, music, and discovery. Our school family will support each child to meet their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
We will support each child learning how to engage and encourage one another. They will learn how to problem-solve as they learn about critical social emotional skills. These social skills include sharing, kindness, equity, and diversity. I am excited to work alongside each one of you to help your child reach their highest potential.
