I've worked with kids all my adult life. That said, I didn't actually teach in the public school system until recently. I've taught in South Korea and Scotland and additionally traveled where I've met amazing people. Kids are the same everywhere, they like to have fun, they love something sweet and they are the best ambassadors of any location far and wide.

This is my first year at Oak Harbor Intermediate and my first year teaching 6th graders!  I love living on Whidbey Island, and can be found exploring the local beaches with my two sons, paddleboarding, getting pizza at Village Pizzeria, or ice cream at Sprinkles. I love reading, writing, history and connecting all three.  I love the outdoors and my ideal classroom would be in the mountains, next to a babbling brook.
