Hello!

I'm so excited to be a part of Broad View Elementary! This is my first year at this school and my 8th year teaching 4th grade.

Obviously, teaching is a passion of mine. However, outside of school, I love being in the gym and in the woods, as well as learning new sports. Currently, I'm learning enduro dirtbike riding and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!

Students in 4th grade will be learning about Washington state history and geography, rock cycles, animal and plant life cycles, and energy. We will do loads of reading and understanding different text structures as well as how to be writers using those different text structures.

Fourth graders will also learn how to be organized and self-advocate in their learning and other needs so they can begin their time at the intermediate school with confidence!

I look forward to all of the friends I meet here at Broad View Elementary. GO, EXPLORERS!
