I am very excited to be joining the Crescent Harbor Elementary School second grade team this year! This will be my second year of teaching, but my first year in my own classroom (I spent the 2021 - 2022 school year as one of CHE's Title I literacy teachers). I have my BA in Elementary Education and recently achieved my MA in English Language Learner education. I'm thrilled that my life has brought me to our wonderful island and this amazing school district!
I have a passion for teaching and for seeing young minds learn and grow. I love working with students and finding ways to meet their specific learning needs. My teaching philosophy focuses on multisensory learning, equitable classroom practices, promoting responsibility and ownership of learning, and creating a positive, predictable, and safe classroom culture and learning environment.
