Hello families!

I am excited to be a part of the Crescent Harbor family this year!  I have been teaching for ten years and this will be my second year at Crescent Harbor.  I have moved around several times in my life, yet finished my degree at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.  While in Spokane, I worked in self-contained classrooms ranging from preschool to 6th grade.  For the last 10 years, I have worked specifically in different EBD classrooms.  My teaching beliefs are to educate the whole child, including academics, social-emotional learning, and addressing individual behavioral needs.  I differentiate instruction and presentation to create individualized learning plans unique to each student.  I promote respect and dignity for both children and adults through a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy being outside biking or snowboarding.  I have a dog that loves to go to the beach and play fetch.  Also, I am a very loyal Seahawk fan. GO HAWKS!  I look forward to working as a team for you and your student this year.
