Miss Amanda Lee
Dear Students and Families,
I am so excited to be teaching with the CHE family! I studied Elementary Education at Western Washington University where I fell in love with teaching kindergarten. While there, I studied human development and focused on students’ academic and social-emotional growth. I am very fortunate to have taught, mentored, and volunteered in seven school districts with a wide variety of students! For the last year and a half, I was a substitute teacher for the Bellingham School District and spent all of my time teaching kindergarten and first grade.
It is so important for children to feel safe and loved in the classroom, so I spend a lot of my time developing rapport with my students and teaching them how to be kind problem-solvers. Our classroom is truly a community (which you are a large part of) where we help each other grow! Amber O’Toole started this year off right by teaching this class the importance of kindness, empathy, and a growth mindset and I can’t wait to continue that work! We are all one team working together to help these wonderful kindergartners grow and reach their full potential!Miss LeeCourses:Kindergarten
