I am excited about starting my fifth year at Hillcrest Elementary as a 3/4 Grade Resource Teacher. Each year of teaching challenges me to find what each student needs to succeed in learning. I enjoy seeing the connections being made and the love of learning begin.

The 3/4 Resource program is set up with Specially Designed Instruction for students that need varying levels of support in learning. Each student in the Resource program has an Individual Education Plan (IEP). We teach in a small group setting in the areas of Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and Social Thinking. We also provide in-class support and collaboration with classroom teachers for students to feel successful in learning within their classrooms.

Students in the 3/4 Resource program have learning goals that we work to achieve throughout the year. Their progress is monitored and reported each trimester. Parents are welcome to email me or call my extension 5215 if they ever have any questions.
