Dear Students and Families,

I have the pleasure of being your child’s third-grade teacher. This is my 10th year teaching at Oak Harbor Public Schools and my 5th year at Hillcrest Elementary. I look forward to getting to know all of my students and families this year. I firmly believe that effective communication between home and school is an important component of a child’s educational success. I encourage parents to be actively involved in their child’s learning. As a parent of three children, I know how valuable family time is. I am respectful of how difficult it can be to juggle all of the activities and homework a school-age child may have. I also believe that when learning is important to the parent, it is also important to the child. My goal is to make this year both a personal and academic success for your child.
