Welcome to Speech Therapy at Hillcrest Elementary!

I am thrilled to be starting my sixth year as a school SLP. In the past, I taught Special Education and later worked as an SLP in the inpatient hospital setting, but Hillcrest is home and exactly where I want to be. My goal is to make Speech Therapy a positive and productive experience for every student. I want Speech to be a place where students are excited to learn and expand their communication skills. Every student is unique and their IEP goals are tailored to their specific needs. We will meet annually to review the IEP and you will receive a progress report with each report card period. I was born and raised on Whidbey Island and I am proud to be back home working in the community and school system where my sister and I grew up. I enjoy reading, hiking, adventuring with my family, and being outdoors when not at work. I love exploring the PNW and finding joy in life's everyday adventures.
