Dear Hillcrest Families,

I’m excited about working together this year! We work hard and also have a lot of fun in the resource room. In the first few weeks, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’m curious to know your child’s special interests, favorite things, and preferences. Establishing positive relationships is key in creating a safe and productive learning environment!

Instruction in the resource room is individualized to suit the educational goals and learning styles of each child. Lessons often take the form of chanting, movement, or games. But powerful learning is happening all the time!
