​As​ ​with any​ ​subject,​ ​language​ ​learning​ ​involves​ ​a​ ​process​ ​and​ ​a​ ​journey;​ ​I​ ​look​ ​forward​ ​to sharing​ ​both​ ​with​ ​your​ ​students​ ​this​ ​year.​

​Classes ​are​ ​taught by optimizing immersion using the TPRS® method. Our class activities are designed to provide students with many opportunities to be involved in Spanish or French at (or just above) their level of understanding, since the goal is to develop proficiency.

 

Each language-building activity is designed to introduce or strengthen the understanding of high frequency words and phrases in the target language.

As cross-cultural interaction is a key feature of this course, classroom interaction should be respectful and diplomatic.
