¡Saludos!

It is with great enthusiasm that I have been teaching at Oak Harbor High School since 2018.  I have had a passion for Spanish for as long as I can remember and love to travel and immerse myself in the language and culture whenever I get the chance.  I have been teaching language in one form or another for the last nine years and am excited to share my passion for teaching with the Oak Harbor community.

Spanish is taught using the immersion method in levels 1 through AP.  Little to no English is used in class and students are expected to listen actively, participate in class stories/discussions, and attempt to speak only in Spanish.  Using this method of teaching, students will acquire the Spanish language so that they may use it to communicate with native speakers in real-world situations.  I look forward to working with all of you this year and please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
