All of our teachers and staff are dedicated to partnering closely with families to ensure your child has a rewarding and positive learning experience in our schools.
Enrolling Your Child
To enroll your child, please visit the front office of your neighborhood school during open hours. If you don't know your neighborhood school or have questions, you can use our district Boundary Map,
or call the Administrative Service Center at 360.279.5000. Should you wish to enroll your child in a school other than their designated location, it will depend on whether the school has space available. You'll find more on the enrollment process in our Registration Packet.
To register with the Oak Harbor Public Schools you will need the following items:
- Proof of address
- Birth certificate
- Immunization record
- Previous school contact information
Requests to transfer to another school must be reviewed by your neighborhood school. Please be aware that elementary families are expected to provide transportation if they choose to send their student to a school other than the neighborhood school. Middle school and high school families are expected to provide transportation to the transfer school unless the student can get to a designated bus stop.
- If you are moving within the district, your child can stay at his/her current school but you will be responsible for transportation to and from school. Please notify your resident school of any address change.
- If you are moving out of our district, but wish to stay at your current school, please follow the procedure for non-resident admission outlined here: Washington Student Enrollment Options
- If you are moving out of state or country, please withdraw your student from your current school of attendance.
