Hello, OHE Families!
The fall of the 2022-2023 school year marks the beginning of my twenty-first year of teaching, and all of those years have been spent teaching fourth and fifth grade students in Western Washington. Sixteen of those years have been here in Oak Harbor, with fifteen of those spent teaching at Oak Harbor Elementary. I'm proud to be an eagle!
Each year, I strive to create a warm, organized classroom with consistent routines in which students feel safe and know that they are cared about. I take pride in our classroom community! My end goal is that my students learn and master fourth grade standards, but along the way, I want each student's confidence and feeling of success to grow as well. Our work this year will be rigorous, but we'll definitely have fun, too!
