Dear Students and Families,
The library is my favorite place. OHI library has been my home base since 2001. I have also taught high school English and 6th grade. In my free time I am likely to be reading, sewing, gardening, or enjoying adventures with my five fabulous grandchildren. You might be surprised to learn that I have skydived over the Snohomish Valley.
Our library is full of imagination and information. Travel to worlds past or worlds beyond. Imagine yourself the hero. Solve a twisted mystery. Fall in love in a touching romance. Adventure your way over a mountain range. Not into fiction? No problem! Discover the reasons for the American Revolution or how to write your name in hieroglyphics. Read about your favorite sports figure. Find out how to care for your new pet.
I welcome you to join me in the OHI center of education. Here we gather to learn individually and cooperatively. Your chromebooks are welcome in pursuit of learning. You are welcome to use study tables, check out books, use computers, or just relax and read. Please ask me for assistance. I am your partner in learning!
Sincerely,
Ms. Alice Mikos
