Hello friends!

I am so excited to join the OHI family and to be back in Washington. I began my teaching journey in Walla Walla but have spent the majority of my career working in the Education department at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California.

I am looking forward to reconnecting with this beautiful state and sharing my love of the ocean and nature with my students.

My husband and I love to explore new places and learn new things. We love to spend our time out and about with our two crazy dogs. Please share your favorite hike or lovely place on Whidbey with me as I settle in! 

I will be teaching 6th grade STEM this year. We will kick off the year with engineering design challenges and move into Earth Systems.  

I will be sending more information home as the year progresses. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out. I am available most days afterschool by appointment.
