Announcements

  • If you've seen some strange, yet vaguely familiar, dressed students hanging around Fort Nugent, you may have caught members of the Oak Harbor High School Drama Club filming portions of the play Space Princess Wars by Don Zolidis.

     Space Princess wars

When Archer becomes a captive audience for her dad's latest masterpiece, it feels pretty familiar. Wars, in the stars. Brides, of the princess variety. But once Archer gets pulled into the absurd mashup tale of a princess with a secret agenda and some space wizards destined for greatness, she wonders: Could this be so much chaos it's actually... genius?

Due to ever-changing guidelines, the show was rehearsed via Google Meet, then recorded individually and in small groups over the last two months, and is now being edited for the final version.   The free stream of it will be from March 19-27 on Broadway on Demand:

The team of  Kyle Hucko, Cooper Billiter, and David Lym qualified during the first two rounds for Virtual Business Hotel. In this regional competition, Oak Harbor finished third against 83 teams from Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
