My name is Melanie Mills. This will be my second year working at Hand-in-Hand. Last year I started out ½ SLPA and ½ teaching, to full time teaching in February 2020. I was born and raised in California. I’ve lived in Washington for a year now. I have a B.S. degree in Speech Pathology and an M.S. degree in Special Education. I am currently participating in the alternative routes to certification program through City University of Seattle.
My husband is in the Navy. We have a golden retriever puppy named Finn.
Can't wait to start this school year and meet everybody!
The paraeducators in our class will be Heather Hostler and Joy Paralle.
