Dear Students and Families,

I am excited to teach 7th grade English Language Arts at NWMS this school year. Originally, I am from northern Indiana where I attended Valparaiso University to earn my degree in English and education. I taught at the high school level near my hometown of Mishawaka for seven years before I moved west. The overall goal in the ELA classroom is to improve the literacy and writing abilities of all students. In my class, students can expect to work collaboratively with me and their peers to achieve our goals. For more specifics regarding the curriculum, please view the syllabus link.
