My name is Laiza Ramos. I have worked in Hand-in-Hand for 7 years, 2 years as a paraeducator and this will be my 5th year working as a Special Education Teacher. I was born in Puerto Rico and I've lived in Whidbey Island for almost 13 years. My first language is Spanish and I've been working with Spanish Speaking families throughout the school district. I run a Spanish Speaking Support Group, here on the Island, for families with special needs kids. I have a BA in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Special Education.
I'm really excited to work with you and your child.
