My name is Becky Miller and this is my sixth year of teaching. I have taught four years here at Hand-in-Hand Early Learning Center and one year in Snohomish. I have a BA in Education from Pacific Lutheran University and am certified in Elementary Education and Special Education. My husband and I grew up in Oak Harbor and we enjoy living on this beautiful island. We have a 2 year old daughter, Adelia, and a 6 month old son, Ezekiel. We also have two cats, Luna and Felix. It has been great to spend the past 6 months home with my family but I am ready to be back at school!
Paraprofessionals Tammy Ratliff and Kelly Panteleon work in our classroom. Ms. Tammy has been a para for 20 years with this year being her fifth year at HiH. She is a spouse of a Navy Retired Chief, has two amazing grandkids and enjoys working out, reading, and hiking. This will be Ms. Kelly's fourth year at HiH and she is working on her masters in elementary education. She enjoys reading, watching sports and taking care of plants.
I am looking forward to working with your child and seeing the progress that they will make this year! This year is going to be different for all of us but I know we will work together to make it the best it can be for your child.
