  • Oak Harbor Public Schools will host the fifth annual Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) beginning Wednesday, June 26.  The nation-wide program is designed to serve FREE meals to ALL children 18 years and under during the summer season.  This year, our nutrition service department estimates over 12,000 FREE lunches will be served to the Oak Harbor community.  A breakfast option will be available at Olympic View Elementary at 8 a.m.

The FREE program is available Monday-Friday and runs through Friday, August 23.   Lunch is typically served at 11 a.m. and has the required five USDA components, which are milk, fruit, vegetable, meat, and bread.  Lunch is served for 45 minutes and must be eaten on site.
All families are encouraged to participate in this program, NO SIGN-UP or REGISTRATION is required.  The USDA estimates over 200 million lunches will be served across the country this summer.
Any questions about the program should be sent to Cheryl Katzberg.   We also need volunteers, if you're interested please fill out this volunteer form
