By working together, we can create a successful learning environment for students at school and at home. Here are some highlights of what's happening in our classroom.
Homework
Students will be expected to read 20 minutes per day. Sometimes this reading will be assigned from the novel we are currently studying. Other times it will be up to the student to select a book for pleasure reading. Students write the daily agenda and assignments in their planners. You may ask your student to see his or her planner to view assigned classwork and homework. Assigned homework will be posted in the classroom and on the class website.
After an excused absence, it is the student’s responsibility to obtain missing assignments and to make arrangements with me for make-up tests and quizzes. Students must come after school in order to not waste classroom instruction time.
Report Cards-Family Access
Progress reports will be available every quarter (9 weeks) through Family Access. If you do not have on-line access, contact the Main Office for a hard copy of the progress report.
Report cards (official grades) are produced at the end of each semester (18 weeks) and are available through Family Access. If you do not have on-line access, contact the Main Office for a hard copy of the progress report.
