Make Up/Late Work

  • Since in-class work is a large part of the course, it will be difficult to get the full learning advantage of the lesson or activities if you miss class.  In general, you will have one day for each day missed to make up a class assignment for full credit, if your absences are excused.  If you have an excused absence on a review day or a test day, you will be expected to make up the test after school within one week of the original test date.  Some situations may call for an extension of this week, but you must talk to me about it if you need more time.  You may not receive credit for a test or quiz if your absence is unexcused.  It is the student's responsibility to follow through with make-up work in a timely manner.  If you are absent for four or more days in a row, make arrangements to come in early or stay after school to discuss a reasonable make-up schedule with me.
