Fourth Grade Project

  • The fourth-grade project is a focus on the performing arts. They take a field trip to the historic Mt. Baker Theater to watch a live performance. This gives our students an introduction to the fine arts outside of our traditional curriculum and sets them on a path of creative thinking and learning.

Our Fourth Graders also get to participate in our Student Ambassadors Club, which is a group of exemplary students at Oak Harbor Elementary. They perform daily jobs all over the campus from raising and lowering the flag to delivering messages. During the weekly clubs, they work on community projects like beautifying the campus and partnering with the Senior Center. They also participate in fun activities together like a First Aid Class and cookie decorating.

In addition, our fourth grade is in charge of spearheading our yearly Fill the Bus Food Drive.  They are in charge of collecting donations form each class and tallying up the totals.
