Dear Students and Families,

 

I have been teaching at Oak Harbor High School since 2018.  I currently teach ninth grade English and American Literature.

I teach because I want to share my love of reading and writing and encourage that love of reading and writing in others.  I believe reading and writing are the foundations for effective communication and necessary skills for success in a world filled with online media.  I help students improve their reading skills through vocabulary work and independent, as well as in class, reading.  I help students improve their writing skills through practice and revision of drafts.
