Opt Out Forms
All students and staff will be granted access to the district network and electronic resources. If a parent or legal guardian wishes to deny his/her minor son or daughter access to the Internet, that parent/legal guardian must sign a Parent Denial of Student Access to Internet form annually.
Your Notification of Rights Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)You have the right to choose whether your student’s information is released or not. Please file a FERPA Opt-Out form with your school if you do not wish to:
1. Release directory information about the student,
2. Have your student photographed at school for the newspaper, Oak Harbor Public Schools website or school-related news publications, and/or
3. For grades 9-12: release directory information to the military
