Fourth graders use shapes (2 dimensional) and forms (3 dimensional) to create their artwork.  They continue to use primary (red, yellow, blue) and secondary (green, orange, violet) colors and they create work using complementary colors (color opposites).  They also begin mixing tertiary colors (a color mixed with one primary and one secondary color).
