Marisa Croucher

  • I am excited to work as the multilingual teacher at OVE. This is my 17th year of teaching and my 9th year teaching for Oak Harbor Public Schools.  I am a Whidbey Island native and a graduate of Oak Harbor High School.  I absolutely love living and working in this beautiful place. When I am not teaching, you can find me walking around Ebey's Landing and many other picturesque spots on Whidbey, or gardening on my flower farm.

The state Transitional Bilingual Education Program (TBIP) and federal Title III address the unique needs of eligible students, who come from linguistically and culturally diverse backgrounds. Both programs share the same goal: develop language proficiency that enables meaningful access to grade level curricula and instruction.
