Dear Students and Families,
Welcome to the robotics program at Oak Harbor High School.
My background is in interactive computer based art and design. Through college and graduate school I got to work with wonderful artists such as Anthony Holland, Sarah Roberts, and Mark Trayle.
After graduating I began teaching science in Los Angeles. There I first started teaching my first robotics class and attending robotics competitions with my students. In 2006, I moved to Whidbey Island and began teaching career and technical education courses including photography, video productions, tech foundations, and applied physics. Later I moved over to the science department and taught biology.
In addition to teaching robotics and biology I am also the lead mentor of our FIRST Robotics program. This is an after school enrichment program that services students in K - 12.
