The Geometry and Algebra 2 textbooks we use are part of the same series used for Algebra 1 and middle school math courses (Courses 1, 2, and 3) and are published by Holt Rinehart Winston. An online version of the textbook can be found at
my.hrw. Use the login owildcats1 and password mathlete. We will also use worksheets generated for the class and some internet sites for practice and assistance.
Students may seek additional assistance during my office hours and can prearrange to make up or re-take quizzes and tests after school on Fridays. Tutoring is also available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons with competent students (National Honor Society) and community member tutors.
Beside the online textbook, you may find the Khan Academy
website very helpful in reinforcing concepts covered in class.
