Aloha Explorer Families,

My name is April Allen and I am so excited to teach 4th grade this school year.  I am looking forward to working with you and getting to know your child.  I love school and helping children learn and grow in a positive classroom environment. We are going to work hard, take risks, learn, persevere and have fun.

I grew up in Hawaii and left the island for college. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Learning from Pacific University in Oregon. Last year I taught 3rd Grade at Broad View and love being an Explorer.
